The model has no way to approve its own actions. Approval comes only from you, with Face ID, your fingerprint, Windows Hello or your authenticator code.
Every recipient, every word
The request shows every recipient, the full text and any attachments. Nothing is summarised away, and there is no Bcc.
You keep the trust list
Choose who Placet can contact without asking. Daily limits apply even to trusted people.
A log you can check
Every action is recorded with who approved it and when, on your account page.

What it does today
- Calls a restaurant and books the table.
- Moves a meeting: emails the other side from its own address and sends the new invite.
- Follows up on a thread when you ask it to.
- Asks you when it needs a decision, and waits for your answer.

- Pay for anything.
- Message people on WhatsApp.
- Read your inbox. CC it on a thread and it picks up from there.
Questions
Is Placet made by Anthropic?
No. Placet is an independent product that works with Claude.
Does it pretend to be human?
No. It never claims to be a person. Emails go out as your assistant, calls open by saying it is an AI assistant, and if anyone asks, it says what it is.
What if it gets something wrong?
Anything going to someone new reaches you first. For trusted contacts, you can withdraw an action until it runs, and the log shows exactly what happened.
Where does my data live?
Our servers and database are in the EU. A few providers that deliver messages work outside the EU; the privacy notice lists them. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Does Placet use my own iMessage or email account?
No. Placet has its own address and numbers. You message it like a contact, and it never signs in to your accounts.
Do I need an iPhone?
No. Placet works on iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows. You approve with Face ID or Touch ID on Apple devices, your fingerprint or screen lock on Android, and Windows Hello on a PC. An authenticator app code works everywhere as a backup.
